Why We Created The Early Days Collective
Hello, we're Polly and Rebbi,
Â
As practicing NHS midwives with over 20 years of combined clinical experience, we have a shared passion for supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and the transition to parenthood. Having cared for hundreds of families, we’ve seen first-hand how vital trusted information, continuity, and reassurance are during these early days.
Â
That is why we created The Early Days Collective. Our mission is to complement NHS care by offering evidence-based antenatal education, postnatal support and baby groups in a calm, welcoming space. We believe every family deserves to feel informed and confident, whether you are preparing for birth, navigating feeding choices or recovering at home with your new baby.

Polly
NHS Midwife & Co-founder
I'm Polly, mum to two wonderful little girls and a crazy cocker spaniel called Shelby.
Â
Originally from Kent, I moved to Norfolk to study Midwifery at the University of East Anglia. It was here that I met my husband, and together we decided to make Norfolk our home.
Â
Throughout my midwifery career, I have worked predominantly in the community, supporting women and families from early pregnancy through to the postnatal period. I particularly enjoy building long-term relationships with families, helping them feel prepared for parenthood and supported as they find their feet with a new baby. I have also had the privilege of supporting families through some wonderful home births during my career.
Â
My professional interests include antenatal education, birth preparation, infant feeding support, postnatal recovery and helping women navigate the physical and emotional changes that come with becoming a mother.
Â
Alongside my clinical experience, I have completed additional training in pre and postnatal coaching and birth trauma support. Rebbi and I are also excited to be undertaking our Mummy MOT Practitioner training, allowing us to further expand the support we can offer women after birth.
Â
Outside of work, I enjoy keeping active, spending time with my family and embracing the wonderfully busy balance of being a mummy, wife and midwife.

Rebbi
NHS Midwife & Co-founder
I'm Rebbi (short for Rebecca)
Â
I'm a mum to a daughter and twins, so life is full of energy, laughter and plenty of organised chaos. Our family wouldn't be complete without Harper, our much loved spaniel, who likes to be involved in absolutely everything!
Â
Born and raised in Norfolk, I trained as a Midwife at the University of East Anglia alongside Polly and have spent the last 11 years caring for women and families across Norfolk.
Â
Much of my career has been based on Delivery Suite supporting women through labour and birth. Being alongside families during such a powerful and life-changing experience is something I never take for granted. I am passionate about helping women approach birth with confidence, understanding and trust in themselves, whatever their individual plans and choices may be.
Â
As a mother of three, I know first-hand that no two journeys into parenthood are the same. I love creating a calm and supportive environment where parents feel listened to, respected and empowered to make decisions that are right for their family.
Â
When I'm not working, you'll find me on the sidelines cheering on my children, dancing whenever I get the chance, spending time with family and friends, and making memories with my husband and family.
Kind Words from our Community
"Just wanted to say thank you so so much for your feeding advice, I have a happier little boy and a lot more free time! I know it probably won't all be smooth sailing but you have given me confidence to trust myself a lot more!"

"I was fortunate enough to receive exceptional care antenatally, during birth and postnatally from this fantastic team during my first pregnancy.
Â
From the outset, Polly and Rebbi's calming presence and friendly demeanour put me at ease throughout. Both were able to offer me reassurance when required and answer any questions I may have had with their extensive experience and knowledge.
Â
Despite a long labour ending in a forceps delivery due to an unexpected big baby; I still look back at my first birth as a truly magical experience thanks to Rebbi looking after me afterwards. She made me feel safe, empowered and supported throughout.
Â
Polly was also amazing during those first nerve wracking few days and weeks after birth as I navigated my new role of mum. Polly provided my husband and I with emotional and practical support with topics such as breastfeeding with the utmost warmth, compassion and empathy.
Â
I can't thank them both enough"
